We have received news about a boarding school in Oregon, which are under investigation by human right organizations in the United States.

The boarding school in question is named Academy at Sisters.

We understand that they intend to detain a 15 year old girl from Hillsboro in Oregon at this boarding school, which have hidden the location of one of their campuses from their webpage. Unlike most boarding schools the student manual is not published at their webpage and it is concerning.

We urge our volunteers to help the organizations in the United States to digg up all tax-records and staff information.

The manager of Sisyphos - a firm which is running 5 group homes in Dalerne has resigned after repeated claims of abuse turned into an investigation.

The allogations includes claims of extreme force and violence against the minors held at the group homes.

The United Nations has criticized the use of isolation rooms at Swedish Group home. Some 300 youth were sent in isolation in 2009.

Now it could change as the parliament is working on stricter regulation.
